I have been experiencing extreme lagging when selecting specific tracks and I couldn't find the reason for this as is it wasn't happening when other tracks were selected.So, as a means of elimination, I figured out that it was the Envelope follower causing this lag issue. Watch the video and you can see what I'm talking about. Still can't find a fix for it though! Any help appreciated

Yep, it's a known issue with M4L devices using jsui.
There's no fixed atm unfortunately.
