Yeah, I have a LOM Elektroslush, which is the same concept expect that it's designed to work close to the sources and is stereo. It's a quite awesome and fascinating device.
There's some recordings made with such mics in one of Live's packs, but I can't remember its name atm.

cool , thanks will check that pack out.. yet from reading SOMA's Ether seems to go to even more interesting further places
