Ableton 10 live, imported MP3 is corrupted

Whenever I import an MP3 track to ableton, it comes out corrupted. It still plays, but the tracks are jerky or "damaged" in some way.
Is it supposed to be that way?
Can't it handle mp3?

Did you try turning off warping for that audio clip in Live once it's converted?

If you need to learn how to use Live, read the manual. Don't expect others to do it for you.
