Oh, I see
Is there a way of importing soundfonts without the Sampler?

There are plugins that play soundfonts.
Sforzando is a free player that can load SFZ, SF2, DLS and Acidized WAVs. It supports both VST and AU, 32 or 64 bit.

To be honest, you are probably better off with a 3rd party possibly freeware solution if you just need Soundfont support.
If you just need to import basic Soundfont drum kits or very simple programs with minimal amp/filter/pitch envelope alteration, it does a good job but I dont consider Sampler a Soundfont player persee, you will need to get your hands dirty.
I think the Sforzando player the previous guy mentioned does a pretty accurate job.
Most modern Sampler VSTis (cough Kontakt) actually do a poor job for Soundfonts as their modulation systems are much more different and scaled differently, and with Soundfonts being such an old format, most Samplers only typically do their own formats well (unless their engine works very similar to the intended samplerl
