i just downloaded a pack of plugins with files that mostly end up in with .fxp at the end. my only question is..... how do i load all of them on ableton? i even tried to go into the plugins folder and put it into vsts since i heard those are also a form of vst. whar should i do?

".fxp" are not plugins, they are preset files for a VST, they are usually loaded in the plugin itself.

Live also has a "load button" on the device .

So does that mean I can add the file full of .fxps to the vst folder?

No, because it depends on each VST, they use different methods, so each VST has its own instructions.

With some you can drop the fxp file in the same folder as the VST, some have a special folder, with some you can put the files anywhere you want.

Many VSTs don't use .fxp at all.

You need the actual VST installed to load the .fxp preset file.

I have kind of the same problem .
I have a bunch of fxp files, but I can't find a way to get them into Ableton. I have Vital, so is there any way to load fxp files into Vital so I can use them on Ableton?
Sry if this is a bit confusing.

You need the actual VST installed that the .fxp presets were made for.
