I am trying to get the drum pads on an oxygen 45 to map to the appropriate slots in Impulse. All is good except Oxygen sends out the same note, but separated by an octave from pad 2 and pad 5. Because the midi scale effect only stretches across 1 octave, A#2 and A#3 from the Oxygen both get mapped to the second slot in impulse. Any clues what to do? Thanks.

You can use a MIDI Effect Rack to split the keyboard and put the C3 octave in a separate Chain, with a separate Scale device to correct to the octave you want.
