10.1 update

On Windows , the wizard hangs on "computing space requirements"- however have plenty of space (500GB). Any ideas? Also, no auto update

My experience is that "computing space requirements" often takes a surprisingly long time, but at least in my case it has never failed to complete.

This time, updating to 10.1 it took longer then ever before. Just when I started to worry, it got to the next stage of installing.
Maybe a buggy thing of 10.1 - and yes I'm on Win10Pro........

Four score and seven year... er.. updates ago...
11.1, still taking forever "Computing space requirements"
And no Auto Update for the past two versions.

Same here. 11.1 upgrade was stuck say 4-5min at calculating space.

same scenario here. took about 1.5 minutes before advancing. installing latest 11.1x today.

Same for me. My computer is faster than god and it took an inordinate amount of time to get past this step. I rebooted thinking it was stuck, but that did not help. Let it sit on the next try and it eventually went through. If your computer is not so zippy, this could take multiple minutes...
