Hi folks,

I'm in the arrange window.

When i click on a midi or audio clip, Live automatically moves the play head to the start of that clip.

I'm talking about when playback is stopped.

But i don't want this!

Any way to stop / change this behaviour?

This is from the manual:

The locator right-click(Win) / CTRL-click(Mac) context menu’s Set Song Start Time Here command can be used to overrule the default “play starts at selection“ rule: when this command is checked, play starts at the locator.

So you right click on a locator up in the Locator bar/Scrub Area where you want Ableton to start playing and select "Set Song Start Time Here"
