Hi all - strange behavior with Live 10.1 today. I've duplicated two tracks (each with Operator in them). Once I've done that, I can't delete the any tracks until I restart Live. Anyone else had that?

Have you been able to reproduce?

Yep - closed Live, loaded two tracks, duplicated one, and then no longer able to delete tracks. Even downloaded Live fresh, reinstalled - same issue. I've reported it to Ableton but I suspect it's a bug. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this though? I've never had this issue in the past.

Can't replicate with those instructions.

Yeah - it’s a weird one. Not sure what’s changed in Live or my system. I suspect somethings not happy between El Capitan and Live 10.1.

L10.1 works perfectly fine with El Capitan (that's what I'm using). I'll try to reproduce and let you know.
Do you have any M4L device in your set? Are you running 3rd party remote scripts?

Thanks - it’s very very strange, never happened before.

And no - it’s literally just Ableton Operator loaded into a track. I Duplicate that track and then from that point on I can’t delete the track. When I do try to delete it, it deletes the Operator in it, but the track remains. I don’t know what’s changed but it’s just stopped working correctly out of the blue.

OK - tried again this morning and now, for some reason, it's working fine!?

Ghosts in the machine.

Sounds possibly like focus was in the device section of the track and you are using your DEL key to delete things so it only deletes what is within the track, not the track itself. If you were to click the header of the track then hit DEL it should delete the track. That's a guess anyway.

Yeah I thought so too but I did ‘focus’ on focussing not the header. Even tried renaming them but it wasn’t having it.

I did have some edits on the arrangement view and thought maybe it had something to do with that? No telling though.

No idea what was going on but it seems to be working now.
