CV tools--CV Instrument Expression midi CC#

In the "Expression" tab in the CV Instrument device we have three channels of MIDI expression, each with a drop down menu for selecting that channel's source. The available sources in those menus are: Velocity, Modwheel, Pithbend, Aftertouch, and Keytrack. I want to be able to select MIDI CC as a source and specify a CC# in that menu. I'm aware that it is possible to map a CC# to a CV Utility device, but that process is laborious and cumbersome, requiring additional devices, requiring an extra track just to route your CC source to the IAC, a clunky process for mapping, and too many places for something to not be configured correctly. Big hassle. Just allow CC#'s as sources in the CV Instrument's Expression tab.
