Its there a way to adjust all tracks in arrange to be the same height other than closing all and starting over opening them?

Pressing ALT while dragging the track header divider will change all tracks' heights at once. When you have tracks of different heights, this will change the individual track heights in proportion to each other. But when you keep dragging the highest one upwards until all are minimized, then drag down again, all will be at the same height.

In Live 10 just press H.

Thanks Tarekith, the newish shortcut has slipped my attention.

I had to try it of course, two things: You don't really have control over the height (manual says it "optimises height") and, it's a toggle, switching between the uniform height and the individual heights you may have set before.

Until you upgrade, try the alt-drag method, should work in Live 9 as well.

H should scale all tracks to fit vertically in the arrangement view, likewise W will do the same with the track widths.

When you selected few tracks, you can re-size them together
