Loop length stuck at 90%

Hi,

I have a loop in a MIDI track after I sliced it from a Sample, and I can't make the loop length 100%, it's max is 90%. What am I missing?

It sounds like you're having the same problem I encountered. It's mapped to the macro control knob, which for some reason is limited to 90%. I had to go through each slice in Simpler, unmap it from that knob (right click loop length and then "unmap from Loop Length"), and then I was able to set it to 100%. Unfortunately though you have to do this for every slice which is a pain.

I really can't figure out why that defaults to 90%, and why it's limited to 90%. Makes no sense to me.

Even weirder: Just discovered that if you un-map then re-map Loop Length to the macro knob it'll go to 100%!

Anybody has a better workaround than manually updating each mapping from 90 to 100 % ?

Any chance you have an options.txt file?
There's an option named "-AutoAdjustMacroMappingRange" that does what you seem to be experiencing. I thought it looked like a cool option myself, but it's just a pain in the arse.

I have setup no options.txt

Should I set the value of this parameter to something in particular?

I can’t find an official documentation for this parameter. Would you know one?

No, don't add it!
The option is off by default and, believe me, you don't want it.
Options.txt is not officially supported and is generally not needed. Some here might disagree, but I don't think it's worth it when it's not supported.
