is it possible to use the indigo dj as the pre-listen and the laptop speakers for the master, just for practice porposes???

yes not only for practice but for live perfomance also

Download the asio4all driver, that should do the trick.

If you open the asio4all controlpanel, you see all the soundcards installed in your laptop supported by it.

If the indigo is supported, enable all of their outs, or at least 1+2/3+4
Enable your onboard card too. (If it doesnt show up then it isn´t supported)

In Live´s preferences choose as soundcard asio4all, enable the outs you need and try around wich one is the cue and the master.

cheers for that..

but this job is goin from bad to worse....

i only got my indigo today and installed it no problem but now i cant get my onboard card working at all (not just in live):(

even with the indigo unplugged and a restart its not working..

i have reinstalled the onboard card drivers and still no joy..

has anyone any idea???

its says its working correctly,

i tried to uninstall, restart and reinstall the drivers but still nothing..

i've been trying to play through winamp and theres no errors, its playing as if the volume is turned down..

i've been int o winamp preferences and tried everything there...

in control panel / multimedia, its set as default....

any other ideas????

You know the DJ can be used for headphones AND main outs?

That's why the DJ is so good, after all...


Why would you want to use the stock card for main outs?

What about the little loudspeaker symbol down on the right in windows?
Perhaps the sound is off or muted

no mate, its up and not muted..

i have put my indigo back in a reinstalled its drivers, its working fine no probs..

i switch from indigo to "YAMAHA AC-XG Audio Device" without error, just dont get any sound..

Sorry, I´ve a yamaha too an no problem here.

Perhaps email echo support.

You could try to deinstall the echo driver again, then clean the registry from everything like echo or indigo, then reinstall the xg drivers.

dont asked me why but i went to the 'unplug or eject' icon at bottom right of screen and stopped the PCMICA devise the comp shut down on its own???

now when ive started it back up the on board is working perfect, but i frightened to death of putting it back in..

any ideas what could have happened..
