It would great if Ableton let you add bars before beat 1 like -1, -2, ... and so on. I know where my track starts but sometimes i like to add an intro to the track and that’s not necessarily the actual start of the track

I agree, and would add ...

1) Ability to set the 1 anywhere on the Arrange View timeline thus making every bar before the 1 become negative ( similar to how the Sample Display timeline works and setting the 1:1:1. )

2) Ability to drag the Arrange View timeline left / right thus moving the entire Arrangement left/right ( including all clips, locators, loop in/out points ).

3) For myself, it was confusing when starting out with Ableton that both the Sample Display timeline and Arrange View timeline didn't provide the same functionality. They look the same shouldn't they function the same? A user interface is meant to make things more efficient and intuitive. Interface discrepancies where two things look the same but provide different functionality hinders ease of use and quick adoption. So my recommendation here is that the two timelines are in some way presented visually different.
