It would be cool if you could use the cut/paste commands to simply cut an FX unit from one channel and paste it onto another. I know you can do all of this with by saving presets and the like, but for Live one of the things is simple ease of use. Using the pointer tool is a breeze to zoom in/out, and move forward and back on a clip/channel. So logically the easiest way to try your FX and presets on different channels is with shortcut editing. I want to just select the FX unit, command-x, click on another audio channel and command-v it. job done. if it sounds crap - command-z to go back. (I guess it's alt-x, c or v for pc's)
cheers! :)

If you're on a mac, hold down the option key and then drag the plugin onto the track you want to copy it to. This copies the plugin with the exact same settings over to the new track. I don't know what the equivalent key is for the PC though (alt probably?).

ctrl+click and drag it on a pc, it comes in really handy.
