Ableton live support for ARA 2
Re: Ableton live support for ARA 2
Yes PLEASE!!! This would be a game changer for my workflow!MallorcaMalle wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 3:11 pmBut I also vote for a build-in pitch correction, basic, monophonic, fast and easy to use.
Feature-wise like Melodyne Essential, maybe even less, but Ableton style.
Re: Ableton live support for ARA 2
It’s probably easier to implement ARA in the first place as Melodyne is an incredible tool to start with and that is their core competency.
Ableton should focus on making the program more professional and keeping up with all the other major players

Digital Performer 11.2 just added ARA 2.
I'm not a big user of autotuning but pitch changing and messing with things in Melodyne is a lot of fun, would love it in Live.

when a subject comes up, you have to react. Please, feedback and make the code !
Re: Ableton live support for ARA 2
Nearly once a week there is someone asking for this as a request for quite a long time.
Do make sure you log this in the Ableton Feature Request on Centercode, as explained on this Ableton help page
https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... re-request
Here is the link to Centerpage https://ableton.centercode.com/welcome/
Once you are logged into Centerpage and have created your account, look out for the ARA feature request and ask for it, marking it as an "essential" feature, for it to get prioritized.
for the lazy ones, here is the link:

It is all about making enough noise and knocking on the right door...

ARA2 should be a high-priority item. If not ARA2, then at least a better way to do non-destructive pitch correction in specific parts of comped vocals with some integrated pitch correction tool like we have Newtone for FL Studio/ VariAudio for Cubase, etc.

It's 2023. Can we please stop pretending like Live isn't being used as a studio DAW and just get with the times?
ARA2 support and native non-destructive pitch correction please!

14 pages in. Is Ableton even listening?
edit: oops! Only 13 pages still. Sorry, Ableton. It's not like there are 14 pages of requests, only 13. As you were.

Melodyne's also allows more granular and easier control of timing, and has, in my experience, far better audio to MIDI translation than Live. I can get useful MIDI files out of Melodyne most of the time but rarely with Live.Machinesworking wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 10:15 pmDigital Performer 11.2 just added ARA 2.
