Hi, I'm going to use this post to let you hear my covers that I'm recording in these days of quarantine. I'm not a professional singer or recorder and I started to use Ableton and reading about home recording only from end of January, so I'm amateur too Any opinions and advices are, obviously, welcome!

Here's another one There's a 1 minute silence in the start because of some copyright issues, not from original AIC but from a band who published an AIC cover album using the same base track, I suppose. In addition, their cover is ugly

You have a good voice, but maybe that creative commons bit off. Legally the music and lyrics is owned by the labels. If it was youtube you'd get a strike, so be careful.

Hi and thank you for the answer! This is interesting, I'm not an expert at legal questions. For what I know yes, I can't publish a cover without rights owner permission, but I use to do that considering the way "things usually go": they strike you only with automatic systems, otherwise you can be striked only if the rights owner explicitly complains and it nearly never happens. Am I right? However in SC I can choose between CC and All rights reserved, is there a better choice, given the situation?

I would strongly advise you get some proper legal counsel on this. It may be soundcloud but people have still been caught. Just because there is a check box option on the site doesnt mean you're legal.

I'm not sure I got what you're trying to say about title posting. Maybe something like posting covers could lead to legal issues?
