Usamo with multiple Midi channels setup?

Hey guys I recently decided to switch from FL Studio to Ableton.
Now I'm trying to setup my USAMO. It works for 1 channel (USAMO > External audio effect), but I'd like to route a few more midi tracks to it, each on its own midi channel.
I tried to do this with an External instrument track, but the USAMO doesn't show up as a midi output.. only when I use a plain midi track with no devices, I can send midi to the USAMO. But this will give me trouble with correcting latency..
I also have to create a seperate audio track then for my audio this way.
I'd rather use the external instrument device, which seems perfect, but how to make it send midi to the Usamo plugin on the other midi track?
Anyone know how to set this up correctly in Ableton?
