Trackteam LiveFills - Can anyone recommend?

Post by nebulae » Fri Jul 22, 2005 12:30 am

Can anyone recommend the LiveFills offered by TrackTeam Audio? I'm wondering if they are any good, and if they are worth the money. Please advise with any real experience you might have. Thanks much.

I have all three and I recommend them. Also Trakteam are about to release an update which will take advantage of Live 5's new clip/instrument/effect groupings (alc files) which will be fantastic.

Cheers

i own beatbox and tacklebox
they're great. how they sit within the Live application is genius, i always have impulse and simpler kits right there when i need to get an idea down quick.
and the sounds (24bit) are great.

The Live device FX presets are extremely handy as well.

they have a bundle that includes all 3 live fills at a discounted price, its a great deal.
even if it didn't install into Live's devices so perfectly, these libraries would be well worth the money. But the fact that all the sounds, kits, and presets go right where they are supposed to go makes it a no-brainer buy.

Ok, thanks for the recommendations. Quick question - since they're about to update, should I wait till they do to get the version that's more compatible with Live 5?

Also, I'm listening to AdamJay's Live in Cincinnati set right now - gotto love these coincidences :)

nebulae, no need to wait.
their updates have all been free in the past, i would expect the v.5 update to be free as well.

they've even released a free migrator utility for folks owning v.4 to migrate all their trackteam livefills to Live 5. So you don't have to worry about incompatibilities, and you shouldn't have to shell out more money in the future.

hope you're digging that set btw ;)

Ok, Adam, thanks again. You're very helpful around here eh? :)

The set rocks! Check out this tech song I did a few weeks ago with my friend DJ Etain from Denver:

Yep recomend em all and cover operators Sounwrecks

For the price there a good way to build up a fantastic library of sound you will never remember whats what so keep a record of sounds you like once you have com accross.
