I'm currently shopping for a new laptop (on which I'm planning on using Ableton Live 10 Standard) and am interested in one HP laptop (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-14-lapt ... Id=6352587). I know it's not the most optimal computer, but I am on a budget. While best buy says it does have all the requirements to run ableton, a verified answered question answered by HP says it does not run ableton. Does anyone know if this computer does actually run ableton? Who should I trust?

I would trust Ableton’s own statement about Live’s minimum system requirements:

Looking at the link you provided, however, I suspect that Live would run on such a machine but not be capable of handling all that many tracks or CPU-intensive plugins. (I myself sometimes run Live on a measly 2015 12" MacBook when I am out and about and am really only doing simple sound design things.) But if it is all you can afford, and if it at least meets the minimum system requirements (which I haven’t verified), it might be okay. Do anticipate needing to freeze tracks frequently, and I don’t think it would work all that well for live performance. In the end it kinda depends on your wants, your needs and, perhaps most importantly, your expectations.
