I tested up to Beta 18. How was the last beta?

So are you saying they should have started beta testing in early May?

there are little bugs here and there like always (plus the abes' holidays are starting like mikemc said) but overall it feels very solid imo.

i know that people who're unhappy with the improvements or have a system / workflow that's affected by outstanding bugs are going to disagree with me but the last release candidate worked really fine for me - just downloading the final version myself.

zion got it right. The Abes have said there might be some bugs left and they'll be coming back to a big list of fixes and enhancements. I'm okay with that. If you wait for perfection you'll never get there. :-)

Not to minimize the troubles of those who still have them! I want as few bugs as possible (even if they don't affect me directly). I trust the Abletons to prioritize them and knock 'em out in good order. Like the Propellerheads, these guys listen to their users.

I use it as a DAW and it's been solid for me for many builds now. I'm guessing the DJ side of things has issues (MP3s?) but for me it is a great release.

Ableton is one awsome company. Much better then Steinberg. I'll never touch Cubase with a ten foot pole again.
