Ableton Forum

My iMac has seen better days, so I am considering buying a MacBook Pro 16. Given the fan noise issues noted, should I purchase one (probably an i7) or just wait until the new iMac/MacBook Pro 16 are released. Any experience would be greatly appreciated.

I would be running Live 10 with NI Machine (full Komplete) routed through.

It's the best computer I've ever used, no complaints at all here and no fan noise either. Unless I'm rendering video or something where you normally would expect high heat.
