Midi controller weird mapping problem

I bought Worlde Panda Mini midi controller for my beginner controller, what bugs me is that whenever I enter CC mode on my controller and map it to a button in ableton, its value changes, what I mean is if I pressed the note C on my controller, Ableton recognizes it as CC 14 and at the very moment I released the key, it becomes CC 16 quickly. The CC mode only works in the keys not pads unfortunately unlike the Akai MPK Mini

What could be the problem here? This has been giving me headaches now I can't start learning if it does this, any help is greatly and much appreciated Thank you!

This could be the result of a fiddly control that keeps sending signals even if you’re not touching it. Or it could just be strange programming of the controller.

If it’s fiddly, I usually fiddle all the knobs and sliders a bunch until I find the culprit. Then I fiddle that one a bit extra to hopefully clear out any dirt or whatever.

If it’s fiddly, it’ll be difficult to do this next step, because the fiddle control would continually interfere.

But the step is to do the mapping, then when the Second CC replaces the CC you want, hit Undo in Live and then exit midi mapping. Ideally, Undo would have the steps of ‘cc 16 mapped, then cc 14 mapped, then undo the cc 14 mapping and set it back to cc 16’.

It works fine on tracks I want to launch and it's not working perfectly when mapping it to the Looper plugin, there are notes that can be heard even when I press the CC equivalent to record. Btw is it normal that the CC mode of my controller is just for the keys? it seems like the pads are always in "Note" mode
