Using latest Ableton Live 10.1.14 suite, on Mac and all running fine..

Installed a new plug in and it shows in my AU, VST and VST3 list.

I prefer and heard its slightly easier on CPU to use AU plug ins?

So the new plug in doesn't open as an AU? it just says

'Some plugins could not be loaded or are disabled'
Failed to create..
This Audio Unit Plug in could not be opened?''

VST seems to work, and yes i could just use that, but why is this not working under AU with the right component in the library etc?

Slightly baffled?

(I also have 32lives installed, incase it is a 32-bit vst, which i doubt) and this wraps all my plug ins perfectly

I'm having the same problem now with Bias FX2, it was disabled by Ableton but I need it back in use.
Did you manage to solve the issue?

do they work in other DAWs?

Ableton disabled plug-ins? I didn't know they did that, that's lame.

which plug-ins? this could be a bigger problem than we know.
