Ableton Forum

Keyboard works fine with pitch bend buttons, but whenever I press the octave buttons – ableton no longer receives messages from the keyboard. A simple on/off click in settings resolves the matter –

However, this is an annoying glitch as it means I cannot change the octave for drum pad etc, and I have a loss of functionality. (I have trouble shooted by resetting using both keys and connecting usb, and also using factory reset in the xkey+ app.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. This setup works for me with my CME XKey37 and Ableton Live 10:
Control surface: Advance
Input: XKey37
Output: None

It may be four years later but I've had this problem intermittently for ... probably four years. I even sold it once but bought another as I loved the feel so much and was using it with a MIDI cable.
