As the title says..I bought a new Mac and have the common issue of mouse losing connection.

I have tried everything:
Different mouse
Check/clean battery and terminals
DeBug and reset all bluetooth devices
Delete bluetooth prefs
Change USB hub and all USB cables now have ferrite beads

One thing I notice it is much more frequent when using LINK. Quite often coinciding precisely with stopping transport.
I have read speculation the wifi is interfering with bluetooth.
I am about to return it but still hopeful there is a fix.

I had the same problem, solved it by switching from 2.4 ghz wifi to 5 ghz wifi.

Good tip! Easier said than done. Contacting ISP to get them to replace the old 2.4 GHz only hunk of junk.

Mouse disconnected twice while typing this!

Same Mac, same issue with a Magic Trackpad. I'm on 5g wifi. Apparently it's a common problem. If you google Mac mini 2018 bluetooth issues you'll see what I mean.

It took weeks and hours on the phone to get a new router from my ISP. Happy to say the effort paid off. Since switching to 5G I have not had a single mouse disconnect. Network is faster too.
