Max For Live parameters don't save

Hi,
Been using Ableton Live Suite 10.1.9 for a few months now.
Every time I use Max For Live devices, save, exit, and reopen a project, there seems to be a random assortment of device parameters that either are set to default again, or 0. This is the case for at least the Color Limiter, (ceiling, release, saturation, color), Convolution Reverb (width, dry/wet), LFO (rate, wave, depth).
I know the parameters are wrong because if I change them and then use the undo command, they snap back to their original parameters. E.g. if I have the Color Limiter on my master bus, I won't hear anything when playing because the ceiling for some reason is now at the lowest value, but if I change the parameter slightly then undo, it will snap back to -1db or whatever setting I had it before.
Thanks.
