how to draw automation for live input audio track in session view that doesn't have clips?*figured it out.

Hey,
I figured it out:
1. Record an empty audio clip, loop it any length you want, draw envelopes you want.
2. Monitor In, Auto,Off - > Press Monitor In button
Solved.

Problem below:
I play the guitar during my live performance and I want trigger automation changes for that live input audio track(on-off, dry/wet automation, etc), the problem is that the track can't have any clips as it takes live input of my guitar.
For example:
Scene 1 intro: dry/wet of delay modulates from 100% to 0% in a loop for 4 bars.
Scene 2 chorus: delay turned off, reverb is on, the chorus is turned on, distortion modulates for 8 bars from 10 to 20%
I can't use clips for that because it takes live input of my guitar and I want to do way more complex automations than in examples above. Mapping knobs doesn't make sense as work around if i want 10 parameters to modulate and turn on/off variety off effects. Can't figure this out.
I think this isn't possible unless you using an arrangement view. Or I don't know something?
Any workaround?
