Live 5 clip offset major clicking sounds...

i had a project going in Live 4 - just bought and installed the Live 5 upgrade.
i have a lot of clips that have sample offsett automation... now in Live 5 every offsett introduces major clicking sounds... whereas in live 4 it was smooth.
and i do have "fade" selected in the sample parameters box.
i'm about to dive into the new manual.. but before i do just wondering if anyone has a quick fix..
thanks.

am i missing something? i can't find anything in the new documentaion that explains any new behavior on sample offset...
i've posted mp3's of the same clip, the first exported through Live 4, the second through Live 5.
the new "clicking" is clearly audible in live 5.
it's a HUGE problem for me because i have a very long dj set made of tons of clips that are now unlistenable because of these clicks. i would just export the mix thru Live 4 but i want to make use of the new complex timestretch algo...

I have, I think, the same problem. I've noticed much more clicks. Tried fade, tried RAM, tried enveloping volume, etc.. Help us Obi Won Kenobi, you're our only hope..

Hi folks,
please post such issues always in the 'Bugs and Problems' forum.
aegez and ebencarlson,
please provide us with a small Live 4! set containing just a short audio clip that demonstrate this problem.
When sending an email please include your forum name and the name or link of this forum thread too.
DJALEX,
please provide us with some more information.
On which computer hardware and with operating system do use Live?
Is the crash you experience reproducible?
Do you use the same preferences settings in Live 5 like in Live 4?
I also moved this thread to the 'Bugs and Problems' forum.
regards,
Alex

I have similiar problems with clips using sample offset, the loops sound quite different from the way the did in Live 4, at the moment it's not at all backwards compatible...Hope this is resolved so I can continue working on the songs I composed using Live 4

Btw, I've been playing around a bit, and this also seems to happen with NEW Live 5 sets. When I first set the offset it sounds fine, but the next time I load the set, it has the clicks/pops in there. Also some offsets done on Live 4 sets simply sound completely different rhytmically.
any news?
