Best simple iPad/Mac remote control solution right now?

Hey forum, away a while so not up on the bleeding edge but use Live 10 most days.
I need some kind of iPad remote control solution to use in a voice booth for:
simple stop/start
select new clip to record
start record
select clip to playback
Other than that I don't need a ton of features, it's not a show or creative setup, just to save me going in/out the booth.
Wireless/wired are both fine, whichever is more robust and paid apps are fine too.
