Trouble with MIDI mapping

So I want to map my Chain Selector to a button on my Novation LaundPad. (Actually a range of controls so that I can easily move from one chain to another.)
But as soon as I do, my KeyStation Mini 32 will not work, because it thinks that all of its keys are mapped to the same chain selector.
How do I make the custom midi maps only apply to the LaunchPad?
