Live (realtime) granular resampling + granular questions

Post by chrisfreeq » Thu Dec 10, 2020 9:26 pm

Hi.

I have an idea for live performance which I'm wondering would be possible.

Can you, while performing a song, take audio from a track, (re)sample it into the Sampler, Granulator or Grain Scanner and start tweaking the sample?

Also, can someone tell me how the Grain Scanner differ from Granulator II?

Cheers,
Chris

Ironically, Sampler cannot sample, and I don't think the other devices mentioned can either :-/
You'd have to record the audio on a track and then drag it in one of the devices.

Granulator II does have an input option plus a ‘GRAB’ button for grabbing audio. I forget how smoothly it functions though.

This (and it works great, btw).
You can also check this device, but it doesn't do granular.
