What about a great Phase Shifter for M4L?

Post by drewskee » Sat Dec 12, 2020 7:40 pm

Besides "Phaedra" which is quite nice I can't find a decent phase shifter for M4l, free or for purchase.
y-Flanger 1.0 by redhexagonal is an exceptional flanger (IMO), looking for something similar in the phaser world.
Not sure it this be the place to ask, if not I can delete this post...thanks.

It is a perfect place to ask!
Did you check the M4L pluggo bundle? I don't have names under my head right now, but there's probably a few devices that can phase shift in here

I have indeed checked Pluggo, dredged Maxfor live.com and every other place I can think of or find :D
I'm not a fan of the Phaser in LIVE either as it does not sound great to my ears, too much churn, not smooth enough, 3 stages sounds better to me than 4 which is odd.

I get closer using AutoFilter as a Notch filter and sweeping that, or using the Frequency Shifter with very little shift either up or down, but that's more barberpole like. My search continues I guess...thanks!
