HELP! Weird pitch warping in Simpler & Sampler

Hey,

For some reason I'm getting a very weird pitch warping sound when loading samples into Simpler and Sampler. It's as if the sounds has a really bad sounding autotune and it's creating a nasty warbling sound. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with warping because I can get the sound to play back normally by switching warping on and setting to "re-pitch" mode (which is useless because I lose pitch control). Also if I set to other warping modes the pitch goes all over the place like a shitty autotune, but it's doing it even when warping is switched off.

I've tried:
- clearing the default Simpler and loading into that
- making sure all warping, envelopes, LFOs are switched off
- making sure ADSR is neutral, so instant attack, no decay, full sustain etc

Is it a bug or am I missing something??

I can get audio samples if required.

Thanks

I found out what it was.......it's a dodgy mod stick on my Novation SLII which was sending micro pitch adjustments via MIDI.....very frustrating but glad I got it sorted

I experience this all the time. Yeah. Frustrating. Wish that part of the controller didn’t degrade so easily.
