i know, ableton wants to encourage the use of stock plugins and Max. But this preview would be very useful.

Great idea! I'm all in!

At the moment there's a black nothing. And I guess not that many people use the XY-Parameter-Modifier. I never see this in Videos. Also it would still be possible. But just the "black nothing" takes away usable space unless you minimize it. Reason has something like this, device snapshot is shown in the VST container-plugin.
