I have a very odd sync issue.

My song is effects heavy, causing crunchy audio at lower buffer settings, so I decided to export the song and record my bass track in a separate session. I exported the track as a Master. Played the bass. All Good.

However, when I tried to bring the bass track into the original session, it won't line up. The Sample rate should align at 141 seg. bpm but is completely out of sync. Turning off warp mode does not help. I lowered the Seg. BPM speed to 135.3 bpm and the bass is in sync for the first 38 measures and goes out of sync again.


I am planning to try and manually fix this... however...

I can't IMAGINE how this happened. Any guesses? It is almost like I recorded on a tape machine with a motor causing inconsistent playback speed or I automated the master track to vary the tempo within 5 bpm throughout the tune.

Which marker was selected when you changed the Seg BPM?

Seg bpm only changes the bpm of the selected marker.

I guess the weirdest thing to me is how it doesn’t seem to line up even when Warp is off. I’m not sure what to make of that

Thank You. I have never had this happen before. I think that it may have something to do with how I imported the comp track into the bass session that I was working on. I am going through in chunks and making minor bumps to get the bass to fit. I should not have to do this, though. Baffling!
