I love Ableton but some things need a major upgrade. Some of these changes make it easier to produce ideas/beats like the Maschine/MPC

Pad Rack

I think Drum rack is really good but outdated. Instead of editing it, just make a new Rack type

A new rack called "Pad Rack" with only 16 pads that give you the Maschine/MPC style pads. Each pad can be individually accessed and edited like it's own track but still are grouped together. Keyboard/chord/scale functionality along with its own audio routing options. When in viewing the clip of a "Pad Rack", make the piano roll of each pad expandable to show the specific notes to each pad.

On the Push, you keep it with the same look ass a drum rack except, you switch the sequencer (the top 4 rows) to notes for the keyboard functionality within each pad. You access keyboard and 16 velocity mode of each pad by clicking on that specific pad.

I think this would speed up everyones workflow and makes it easier to make "beats" and shell out ideas.

Chord Mode makeover

Simple fix, just add a chord mode similar to Maschine/MPC

24 Sends/Returns

Been needing this one! More returns means not having to leave Ableton to mix in ProTools/Logic AT ALL ! You may need to rethink the UI but I think its necessary

64th notes Grid and Repeat

Simple but necessary imo... 64th note repeat on Push would be awesome.
