Stock Reverb Plugin creates White Noise Explosion

First of all I want to apologize for some mistakes I might do on grammar because I'm from Germany.
So my problem is that sometimes if I open a project file the stock Ableton reverb plugin creates some insanely loud white noise that almost blows my speakers (and my ears). The meter on the reverb goes into the red although there is no input at all. Also every other channel is absolutely silent aswell as the master.
I don't know why this happens sometimes but apparently if I'm disabling or deleting the reverb the noise is gone. So I assume that the stock plugin is bugged.
This problem makes me really paranoid and is not professional if you have customers in the studio.

That's looks crazy! I've never ever experienced this and I'm using the stock Reverb 99% of the time since forever.
Just to be sure, you're talking about "Reverb" or "Convolution Reverb (Pro)"?
Is it happening with one specific project, or randomly with any project?
Please let us know which Live version you're using; which devices/plugins do you have on the track where your Reverb is.
Tip: put a limiter on your Master track and saves this in your template.

Hi Hemdjunge,
the limiter to the master track is a good idea to evaluate.
Some thoughts:
Do delete step by step every item from your project.
Do you already have audio items in the project or only midi?
If so, do you have recorded these audio file by yourself?
<if I open a project file> just and only on openning?
Kill that reverb and put a different one at the same position.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not using convolution reverb. Just the stock reverb from the audio effects tap.
It happens not all the time but with any random project I open. Only on opening them.
I'm usually on the newest version of Ableton Live.
Due to the fact that I just recently found out that this happens because of the reverb I'm not sure in which channel this noise comes from. I assume every channel with reverb has the potential of doing that. But when I found out about the problem the reverb was on a vocal track. First in the processing chain I usually put an eq followed by a compressor, a limiter, maybe some autotune for fun and lastly the reverb. Everything besides the autotune plugin is stock.
Thanks for the tip with putting a limiter on the master. But I think this wont help because as I said there is no signal on the master. The meter is completely black.

I found the problem. It appears that a specific autotune plugin was causing this noise. I just won't use it anymore. It wasn't great anyways.

I'm not surprised; that's why I wanted to know wich plugins you use
