Does anyone have a suggestion which is the best controller for using the 16 Macros?
I have a Push 1, I dont see the 16 Macros there yet, Im not sure how this is done or if it can be
Id buy a smaller device , ideally also automatically mapping to Logic Smart Controls
I do have Roli and Sensel stuff, but I want as little configuration/ upload/wifi connection needs as possible, just connect via usb and give me knobs to work with 2 hands on. I wonder if mpk mini mk3 is a good choice

I just tested it with my Push 2 by creating an instrument rack and setting up 16 macros tied to an instance of Repro-5.

Push just creates two Instrument Rack headings at the top of the display. So essentially it just creates two pages of 8 macro controls each. You just push the appropriate button at the bottom of the display to swap between pages and then use the 8 knobs as per usual.

I presume Push 1 would do the same.

I have a Push 1 and I dont see those headers immediately, not sure if I miss something or if I need to do a Firmware Upgrade and how

looks interesting, but I dont see a script for it in L11 and scripts have to be rewritten now since there is a Python Update as far as I understand

is this a manual configuration or the automatic one? Im interested mainly in the "Control Surfaces" automatic way of mapping

Automatic. Just appears on the Push when you setup the macros.

I wrote to Novation to see if they could update the firmware of the launch control range to support all 16 live 11 macros, but they told me that "we will consider the option", which means that they will ignore us completely.

If anyone finds out about a script that does what Novation is not going to do, please let me know. Thank you.

YEs, we have both the LaunchControl X and LaucnhControl XXL script on our site which have supported 16 parameters on the LaunchControl or up to 34 parameters on the LaunchControl XL since the controllers were originally released...

I've typed parameters as macros are simply parameters, in either case whether it's a rack or a VST, MAxforLive device, Instrument etc. the 16 or 34 parameters are available in one bank on the controller.

Is is possible at all to use two different controllers, let's say, an MPKmini and an APCmini, and use the 8 knobs from each to access all 16 macros?

There might be a workaround if you make a custom script, where one does the first 8 and the other does the second 8.

It’d require using Two control surface slots and probably two separate scripts (maybe titled 1-8 and 9-16 or whatever).And result in a little confusion heheh.
