The more chaos the better!

Ignoring it is April 1st (and that the profile in the bottom doesn't even match the top), that device in the pic would cost a lot more than Push 2.

The touch-sensitive knobs, touchstrip and the screen are the most expensive parts, the pads are relatively cheap in comparison.

And that pic actually still has pads in the bottom, if people want those velocity-sensitive with aftertouch with the same quality as Push 2, a new design with smaller size won't even cost much less.

So IMO, the screen and the pads would cost about the same, while 4x more knobs and 10x more touchstrips (with meters, probably would cost more) would greatly raise the price.

I heard a rumour that they were planning on making that bottom row be mute, arm, and solo buttons - but they were making them aftertouch sensitive and MPE. Just for a laugh.

About the cost they said "Hah, we don't care!" which seems quite amazing, but that's what they said.

Typical Ableton behaviour!
