Push sequencer pads extremely dim

Hi sorry for being another person posting about this! I can't seem to find an answer though.
My Push is plugged into the mains, everything is lit up fine except the sequencer note on pads... they're so dim I can barely see them even in the dark. all display settings are up to 100%.
I've actually just noticed that when I put all the notes velocities to 127 the pads are bright. There is a huge drop in brightness between 121 & 120 though & they basically become invisible after that.
Please can anyone help! I can't see what I'm going
