Punch in into audio session clips

I would love to be able to punch in into audio recordings within clips on audio tracks in session mode...
Using Live as a looper, so I´m in session mode, the most of the time. It would be so helpful, to have the ability to punch in into recordings I made with Bass or guitar, as opposed to delete and rerecord the whole clip..., so please...
