hi, I set the sound card but it doesn’t work. I mean it doesn’t record the microphone and in the inputs I don’t see any signal from the indicators. the strange thing is that on logic everything works perfectly. in ableton mad the audio track on rec. I put audio form Ext. in but as said does not detect any input signal. how can I do?

Can someone please help me?

thank you for showing me the tutorial on the sound card setup but I had already read it and the card is set as the tutorial says. the problem is that despite the setting should be good the input signal does not arrive.. this is the problem.

You won't get much help as all you have told us is you have a scarlett interface nothing else.

rule #1 when requesting troubleshooting help: provide as much detailed information as possible, including hardware and software, settings and steps you’re taking. no one else has your exact configuration, and mind reading isn’t a thing, so unless you give us more to go on, there’s not much we can do to help.

Hi, I just thought I'd chime in with what I think is a solution to this issue. I was having the same problem with my Scarlett 2i2/Macbook pro/Live 11 setup and had difficulty finding a solution posted in this forum.

After following all the setup procedures listed in the manual etc. I was still not able to see or hear any incoming signal within Live.
The solution I found was that I needed to go into my security preferences for my OS and allow Ableton Live 11 access to my "microphone."

System Preferences -> Security and Privacy ->Privacy tab -> check box next to Ableton Live.app

I hope this helps someone else down the line.

Same here, huge problem with Scarlet 2i2.

Windows 10, Scarlet 2i2 gen3, Live 11

Roland Rubix 24, Lynx Aurora 16USB, MOTU 828 mkIII all work, but not the Scarlet 2i2
First I tried de Focusrite, without the other drivers for the interfaces I mentioned before.
After this test, I did a complete uninstall of all audio drivers and reinstall the Focusrite driver.

No sound, or just stutter, and a shaking timeline
also sync problems with 48khz in Live, but 44khz showed in the driver, and a different pitch when I play music from the laptop, after I stop Live 11

all other audioprograms working fine, before I start Live 11
I only tried at 2 Windows 10 computers, I didn't try it on MAC systems, because they running the big studio.
