Upgraded to Ableton 11. When I launch a scene from session view, my Device View Window is moving to the Master Device View. Previously in Ableton 9, the device view would remain on the channel I had selected. How do I get the device view to stay on the selected channel regardless of the triggered scene on the master? I've opened version 9, 10, and 11 side by side. Ableton 11 is the only one changing the device view when firing a scene. I've poured over the preferences and don't see a setting that would affect this. Has anyone else experienced this and know a fix?

Turn off the Select on Launch option
Prefs > Record/Launch/Warp > Select on Launch

Thanks for the reply Gary. Just checked preferences and it was already Off. Toggled it on/off a few times to see if the results differed without success.

have you mapped the scene to anything? if so, check you haven't accidentally mapped the track header too.

Nope. Just the scene launch on the master.

oh you're mapping the global scene launch. yea i see the same thing here, not ideal. seems it should honour the pref setting but it does not. contact support and see what they say ?

Support responded to me. This is a bug. Here's a work around:

- Deactivate [Select Next Scene on Launch]
- Map an additional key to the down arrow [Scene Down] button in Master Track
- Use your [Scene Down] mapped key to select the following Scene; then use your original mapped key to Launch
