LIVE and EQUATOR2 LIVE PERFORMANCE CPU SPIKE

Hello All,
I am on a MBP2019 8core 2.4 GHZ 16GB RAM and 2TB SSD
When I use Equator2 in a live set for the live performance, the CPU is spiking when changing presets, bot at 256 and 512 buffer.
The sound is affected by the preset swapping, it glitches. Does anyone have similar experience or a workaround?
I see no settings in Equator2 for reducing the CPU load...
