BPMs to match in Arranger mode or Edit mode.

Does anyone have a tip on how to, in ARRANGER mode, to get all sample loops to sync to the same BPM. I'm having trouble getting all beats to get in sync.
I know that this program will do this. But do I have to set the tempos in Edit Sample modes? Or can I just line them up in Arrnager, tell them what BPM to conform to and theyll snap to that tempo?
I'm confused. Any help out there?
