Missing 64 bit VSTs + focus window issue

Specifically Image Line, I have used a bunch of their plugins without problems.
I have had to reformat and reinstall all my audio stuff but I cannot see the IL plugs in Ableton 11 browser.
I've reinstalled, checked they are in the right place but no joy.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
It would be a life saver if I can figure it out
oh and one other thing.
my window keeps losing focus. it's really frustrating. This never happened with precious versions..

SORRY, of course I meant 64 bit VSTs in header...
