Amplitube 4 Crashing Live 11

Is anyone else having problems with Amplitube 4 causing Live 11 to crash when loading/changing set or found a way of fixing it? I'm debating upgrading to Amplitube 5 as 4 is no longer supported by IK Multimedia but am a little nervous about forking out a load more money in case the issue persists. I'd be grateful for any advice

No probelm here. Did you try VST3 vs VST2/AU, or any combination?
Amplitube 5 is taking an insane amount of GB thanks to their new technology that's based on thousands of convolution files. I tried it (I use the Custom Shop version, so I didn't have to buy the update), but it wasn't worth taking so much HD space... espcially for a non-full version like the one I'm using. That's stupid.

I didn't think to try the VST2, I've just been using the VST3. Definitely worth a shot.
