Ableton Forum

I just bought an APC40 mk2. Also had the mk1 before. Mapping controls used to be simple, cmd + m, then twist a knob. However, with the mk2, for some reason I can't map the knobs. For example if I want to map the master fader to something, ableton doesn't seem to react to the fader I'm moving when in the mapping menu. Does anyone know what I should do?

Have you set it as a MIDI surface and switched on Remote for both input and output?
