How do I add 8 Knobs per track in Clip/Mix View? Similar to typical 16 channel mixer. Above or below aux sends but below clips.

I have a generic channel strip utility rack on all my tracks with utility gain, hi-pass filter, compressor, 4 band eq, and 0-50ms delay on 8 macros.

Id like to see all my utility rack macros all side by side in order for better mixing experience.

It should be possible with max for live..
Create 8 empty return tracks and hide them.

You will have now 8 knobs per tracks, one below the others like a regular mixer.

You can then grab this 8 knobs and assign them to any parameter of each track.. to for example high gain, mid gain , low gain etc..like a mixer...
